Do You Have Company Coming?

photo from http://clipartmonk.comRollaway bed rentals come in super handy when you have guests and just don't have enough beds for everyone. You want them to feel welcome and have comfortable nights of sleep, but you aren't prepared to accommodate everyone's needs for a place to slumber [caption id="attachment_5133" align="alignleft" width="300"] photo from http://clipartmonk.com[/caption] The solution is to deal with a long-established and reputable rental company that provides the cleanest and latest rental equipment and excellent delivery and pick-up services. You can rent beds daily, weekly, or monthly. A rollaway bed folds in half for easy transportation and can be stored out of the way during the daytime if it takes up too much room and would interfere with other activities. That type of bed is great because it raises the sleeper off the ground, and a high-quality mattress does not leak air like a blow up mattress would. The metal frame is sturdy and durable for support, and the 4-inch ball-bearing wheels enable easy movement. A 30?x72? folding metal rollaway bed is ideal for smaller spaces. It features an easy open and close latch, swivel wheels, and the best choice includes a sanitized and waterproof 4-inch mattress. A sturdy 39?x72? twin size metal

3 Potential Kitchen Repairs Homeowners Might Not Expect

photo from istockphoto.com[caption id="attachment_5139" align="alignleft" width="300"] photo from istockphoto.com[/caption] Owning a home is one of the most exciting, life changing experiences that a couple will enjoy together. It is a huge step up from renting, and most homeowners can do as they please in their own homes. However, with the freedom of home ownership comes the responsibility of repairs. There are no longer landlords who foot the bill and responsibility for repairs. Some of the following kitchen repairs can truly catch homeowners off guard. Oven One of the biggest repairs associated with ovens is a bad element. When the primary heating element in an oven blows, the oven will no longer bake food. Since this is the most widely used appliance in most family homes, it can be a very serious repair that needs to be completed quickly. Some ovens can be fairly easy to repair, but many people prefer to seek the help of a professional. For glass top ranges, the glass can break under heavy stress; such as when a cast iron pot hits it too hard. This is a more costly and time intensive repair. Look for trains that have comfortable amenities because you'll be sleeping on the rails for several days at least. Another train route that draws in the crowds is along the Pacific coast on California's western edge. Discover where the cliffs meet the ocean along this route. 5 Ways to Make Your Chain Link Fence Look More Attractive

181[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="300"]Chain link fence material is one of the more secure ways to protect your home and property. It is sometimes overlooked due to the fear of having the home look too industrial, or business-like. This is a small problem that can be dealt with a few ways that are budget-friendly, but effective. Below are five simple ideas to make your chain link fence more inviting and attractive. photo from www.doityourself.com[/caption]         Add a Splash of Color You can lose the more business-type appearance of chain link fences by using a product that is coated with a polymer material in a variety of colors. It can add a dramatic look to your property, while still providing a sturdy form of security. Strategic Plant Placement A little creative gardening can help disguise a chain link fence. Plant flowers, smaller flowering trees, and shrubs to distract eyes from the view of a stark metal fence. You can make the exterior area of the fence look like a complete oasis. Privacy Slats A relatively inexpensive way to decorate a chain link fence is by using privacy slats. These can be inserted through the chain link mesh in an

Quick & Easy Digestive System Model

imageAfter our study on lungs, we are moving on to our study of digestive system. My boys are starting to love science and they are looking forward to every experiment as well as  craft for this subject. Been on the look for digestive system DIY model, and I found the digestive-play dough model interesting. I don't have the luxury to buy a digestive system model so we opted for this fun & easy craft. My son was excited seeing the play dough on the desk and even more excited when he found out we're going to create digestive model with play dough. It was a quick activity but he definitely enjoyed it. Then I let him label the parts of digestive system. If your child likes play dough, then this might be a good activity to make your homeschooling fun and easy. Enjoy!

Taking care of your teeth is one of your most important responsibilities. Having good dental hygiene will help to ensure that you will be able to keep your teeth for many years to come. However, brushing and flossing is not all you need to do. You should also schedule regular appointments with a dentist. This person will examine your gums and teeth. Any problems will be detected and fixed before they become too severe. However, choosing a dentist for you and your family can be a tough decision. After all, you need to be sure the person working on your children's teeth is very skilled. Here are some things that you should look for when you are trying to find a dentist in your area. 1. Budget Friendly Travel

photo from http://smartandsnazzykids.com[caption id="attachment_5043" align="alignleft" width="300"] photo from http://smartandsnazzykids.com[/caption] Most moms want to show their children the world before they grow-up, but traveling can be expensive. This doesn’t mean you have to skip the annual family vacation. There are plenty of ways that you can cut travel related expenses in order to make that next trip fit into your budget without draining your bank account. Food Food can get expensive when you are travelling, but not every meal needs to be in a restaurant. When booking your accommodations, look for hotels that offer complimentary breakfast. These may not be fancy, but they offer plenty of options that will help you get your day started. Consider packing your lunch. Make it fun for everyone by having a picnic style meal at state welcome centers, scenic parks along the way, or at a neighborhood playground. Everyone will get filled up, and the little ones can burn off some energy too. Lodging Cheap hotels may look like the best option when it comes to cutting costs, but think before you book. For a few extra dollars you might be able to find hotels offering free snacks and breakfast which will save money on food. Suites

Science Experiment | Stem Study

IMG_5248This year, we are using AOP Lifepac for Science. We are almost done with the first quarter, and my little grader is enjoying the activities in this curriculum. It seems that he is interested in every experiment provided, and I have to admit, that I am also enjoying it as a parent-teacher. We started a unit on plants and recently, we studied stems. For the little ones to better understand the job of the stem, we did a stem experiment showing how water & minerals travels to the leaves through the stem. For this experiment, you will need; a small jar with water food coloring a celery stem magnifying glass. We started by cutting off a piece of celery stem. Then, I let the kids examine the end of it with a magnifying glass, for them to see the tiny tubes on the stem where the water travels towards the leaves. Next, you will have to put food coloring into the small jar with water, and put the celery stem. Let it set for a few hours. After four hours, the celery looks like this!  The leaves turned reddish! How did that happen mom? The boys blurt out in amazement. It clearly showed how

photo from freepik.com[caption id="attachment_5024" align="alignleft" width="225"] photo from freepik.com[/caption] Getting a nursery ready for your first baby can be an exciting time in your family’s life. Unfortunately, as a new mother you probably don’t know where to begin. Your family and friends will all have advice about what items are necessary for the baby’s care while advertising will make you think you need everything under the sun. Use the following as a guide to the basics. Furniture The furniture will be your first and most important purchases. A crib is a must. Your child will use this from their first night home until they are approximately two years old. A changing table is a nice convenience, but not necessary. Think about using a chest of drawers instead. Padding and safety belts can be added to the top for baby’s changings. Keep safety in mind at all times. Don’t forget to include a comfortable rocker in the room for yourself. Linens Linens include bedding, window treatments, clothing, and towels. Bedding needs to be kept to a minimum with no pillows or bumper pads that can pose a risk to the baby’s safety. Avoid blinds that have strings or slats that a toddler can

The next Day Camp will be August 12, 2017. Two for 2017 have already been held in May and July, and they are regularly offered several times a year between May and September. The main mission is to connect able-bodied and disabled children with horses and further their lives with a little encouragement. The camp is wheelchair accessible, so disabled children are encouraged to attend and enjoy interacting with animals, doing arts and crafts, taking part in a wide range of activities, and having fun. Each day camp runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Five different stations teach about farm animals, and children have lunch on the patio with animals around them. There is also a DJ that plays the children’s favorite music. The day camps are free except for the cost for four preregistered horsemanship classes, if desired. Those are $20 per child for each class, and siblings are $15 a
