One of my goals for 2011 is to improve my cooking. I desire to learn to cook more recipes not just for my own satisfaction but for hubby’s indulgence too. Before I start doing so, I thought of having a food blog to archive my cooking delight and to share the experience to my bloggosphere friends. It’s not just the blog that I ought to have for this goal; I too would like to have kitchen and cooking wares that I don’t have in our kitchen cabinet. We only have the basics in our kitchen just like our 1 quart plastic pitchers. And as much as my hubby wants to buy a cheap nike soccer indoor shoes I might love to buy those kitchen ware that I rarely use before just like the #32 plastic sausage stuffing tubefor homemade sausages.I don’t really love cooking and I don’t know much about it but I won’t get tired of learning this thing. I get so excited about this and I am looking forward of starting this new project soon.
Momsicle is joining Mommy Moments. It’s a Friday meme by the The Mommy Journey. Being noob in the bloggerverse this is my first meme that ill be hopping in. Today’s theme is new family photo. Our latest family picture was taken last Christmas, this is actually our second family picture since our little one arrived. It was also our little one’s 3rd week birthday. Thanks to our sturdy tripod for taking the picture.
It’s been morethan a month since I gave birth and most of my time was spent taking care of our little one and I gotta say that I am loving and enjoying it. Yesterday hubby took his time taking care baby z so I had a chance to go for shopping for my lil one. I saw an adds somewhere that there will be a baby and junior exhibit happening that weekend at Midvalley so I went ahead to check the exhibit and it was just a good chance for me to go for shopping coz Jusco was also on sale til feb 8 for the Chinese new year. After my pregnancy and delivery this is my first time shopping alone without hubby and shopping not for myself but for our adorable little boy. Glad to have his rocking chair at 50% off from the exhibit and few pieces of clothes from jusco’s sale. Here’s what I got for him.
Everyone in Facebook has been talking about the changes in zodiac signs. Earth rotation has caused changes in our zodiac signs. My previous zodiac sign describe me as a determined and forceful, emotional and intuitive, jealous and resentful, compulsive and obsessive, powerful and passionate person. Now I discover that my new zodiac sign which is Libra describes me as a romantic and charming, easygoing and sociable, perceptive and intuitive, indecisive and changeable person. I am not really the type of person who relies on astrology to determine my personality and the outcome of life but I just find those traits pleasing to my ears. LoL. Check the new dates and see if your zodiac sign have change. The New Dates: Capricorn: Jan. 20 - Feb. 16 Aquarius: Feb. 16 - March 11 Pisces: March 11- April 18 Aries: April 18 - May 13 Taurus: May 13 - June 21 Gemini: June 21 - July 20 Cancer: July 20 - Aug. 10 Leo: Aug. 10 - Sept. 16 Virgo: Sept. 16 - Oct. 30 Libra: Oct. 30 - Nov. 23 Scorpio: Nov. 23 - Nov. 29 Ophiuchus: Nov. 29 - Dec. 17 Sagittarius: Dec. 17 - Jan. 20

Yesterday i came accross this news that facebook will shut down on March 15. This morning, yahoo news confirmed that Facebook is not shutting down. It was said that the silly news came from a fake news site known for joke headlines. Facebook Director of Corporate Communications Larry Yu asked for a help to put an end to the silly news. He also stated that they didn't get the memo about shutting down and there's lots to do, and that they'll just keep cranking away like always. The Facebook official fun page today posted: "We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started."
I came across this news this morning, and was surprise that facebook will come to its end on March 15. Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March stating that managing the site has become too stressful. He also pointed out that Facebook has gotten out of control and the stress of managing the company has ruined his life. Starting March 15, users will no longer be able to access their facebook accounts. Facebook has been part of my daily online routine, if this is for real; I will definitely miss reading my friends daily status and thoughts in mind, checking friend pictures to keep me updated of what’s happening and will simply miss chatting with some friends who was not in my yahoo friends list. Through out the facebook craze, I am glad to get connected with some old school friends from around the globe. Glad that I was not addicted to several facebook game so ending facebook will not be a big deal for me. I just hope this is not part of their marketing strategies that will gain more profit for the company.
I recently gave birth to my first baby in Kuala Lumpur. My husband and I was already living in Kuala Lumpur as an expat the whole time of my pregnancy. We have gain information on how to register our new born through the help of our local colleagues and some Filipino friends. This is my way of sharing to other moms what they have shared to me. Take note that Birth Registration shall be made within the next 14 days after you give birth. From the hospital where you gave birth, a form Daftar Kelahiran (registration of birth) will be provided to you by the hospital. Just fill in all information needed. Note that the form is in Bahasa Melayu. In the hospital where I gave birth they don’t have English translation form, I don’t know with the other hospital in Malaysia if they provide English translation form. In our case, we have asked our local colleagues to do the translation, there are also online translation resources which maybe a good help. Next step would be, to submit the form to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara Malaysia (National Registration Department Malaysia). Submit the Daftar Kelahiran Form together with Borang Pengesahan Kelahiran (Birth Confirmation Form)
If there’s one person who is more than proud the way I do with our little one, it’s none other than his big daddy. From the start of my pregnancy up to the delivery it was my husband who was constantly beside me and I have to give credit to him for making things easier for me from the pregnancy, delivery and up to now that our little one is with us. I can clearly recall his excitement the moment that we knew that we’re going to be parents and the waiting game makes him more excited to become a father as we get closer to the delivery date. And finally, it came to pass that my dear husband is now a proud daddy. An overwhelming feeling mixed with joy and anxiousness. Anxious of being a first time dad, what to expect, what to do, and what’s necessary? But beyond those anxieties is an overwhelming joy or rather an unexplainable joy that our little one has brought us. He just love watching his son sleeping and would often brag how handsome his little one is, just like him. Lol.Fatherhood can be a tricky thing but I know he is doing
